The Foodie Queen catering service is run by Heather; I am the manager, event planner and main chef. I have a large team of staff, chosen for their friendly charm, hard-working efficiency, range of talents and all round general loveliness.

A consultation service is available – I would love to meet you and discuss your catering plans with you. I can make suggestions, guide your choices and answer any questions; we can also look at your tableware options. And consultations always include……

When you come for a consultation, there will be delicious samples to try. Or if you would like to try some or all of your menu, that can be arranged on request.

Special diets
I can cater for any special dietary requirements, with advance notice. We really look after people and go the extra mile to make sure that no-one misses out because of dietary needs.

Tableware and equipment
Some venues provide tableware (linens, crockery, cutlery, glasses), but many don’t.
I can advise on requirements for your chosen menu, and if tableware needs to be hired then I can show you samples, provide a quote and make all the necessary arrangements for you. I can also advise whether the cooking and refrigeration equipment at the venue is sufficient for your preferred menu, and arrange additional hire if required.

There is no Vat to add to The Foodie Queen prices, as I operate below the threshold. Vat charged by other suppliers (eg for tableware hire) is passed on to you. This is made clear up front in the pricing information.
So no nasty surprises.

I don’t charge corkage for serving your drinks. Drinks service is optional and flexible. The cost of staff time required to deliver your chosen level of service is charged to you. But this works out significantly less expensive than the corkage fees charged elsewhere.

I have been catering weddings and events in Dorset for ten years. Before that, I ran a business providing meals and cakes to holiday cottages.
